Center for Social and Economic Research
in Kyrgyzstan
CASE-Kyrgyzstan, part of the CASE Networks, is an independent not-for-profit research organization set up in 1998 with the goal of assisting social and economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic through research, training and advisory activities.
The Center's research covers a broad range of locally relevant topics, such as macroeconomic forecasting, analyses of fiscal, monetary and social policy, agricultural economics, institutional changes and privatization, and many other.
The Center is involved in training programs in economics, public finance, econometrics, poverty monitoring, and information technologies for government officials of different ministries and agencies as well as NGO and academia representatives.
CERGE-EI Foundation partners with and supports CASE-Kyrgyzstan through its Teaching Fellows Program.
